Question I cant talk with anyone on anything.

So i've just built my new pc (this also happened with my friend when he reinstalled on his ssd) and my mic on literally everything sounds like a screeching dying robot and i have no idea why im using a pair of Razer Kracken 7.1 v2 (so was my friend it seems what fixed it for him was buying a licence) and i wanted to know if there was any way this can be fixed without buying a key?
 
Given that the headset in question is USB driven, have you made sure you're on the latest USB/chipset drivers for your platform? Speaking of platforms, list your current system specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Then make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. You may also want to try and use different apps to rule out a faulty/buggy app.

after updating my drivers and bios i have found out that the source of the issue was in the advanced settings in the channel format..... was set to telephone quality but thanks for the help!
