I cant use all my Vram on this CPU

So i bought an Amd A8-3820 Apu with Amd Radeon HD 6550D and my Video ram is 512mb and when i try to use 1gb of video ram using Bios and setting it to do so it uses my RAM ,please help

Atm i have only 4 gb ram and after i set the apu to 1 gb of vram i have only 1.7 gb ram left

get a 2x4GB set highest speed that you can afford and plan to use them, then see if your current stick will work with it, if not pop it on ebay.

What if i try to add ram from an usb stick after i put 1 gb of vram on the gpu?

that's not RAM. You can't 'add it from a USB stick'
