So recently I switched from some local ISP business to T-Mobile for a major upgrade in download speeds and better prices. I now connect to it via wi fi instead of ethernet cable, ever since then my steam downloads will refuse to work and sit at 0 Kb/s while still showing it's using disk.

I've tried clearing my download cache, changing download servers, connecting via ethernet, repairing my installation folders, repairing my steam installation, restarting my PC, all kinds of things.

I'm completely stumped as to what the problem could be, I've contacted steam support but I've mostly just gotten the generic scripted answers

anyone have any ideas?

There's more than just speed involved here. The entire Cell network is simply NOT designed for that kind of traffic.
I'm not sure it's
Seeing as this coincides with the change there is a chance this is a known issue or possibly a deliberate restriction.

I guess, other than my laptop has had zero issues, it's just my desktop that's having a problem

i dunno anymore
