its not a troll, i know that its wrong to clean PC before removing static charge, I'm not an idiot. plus, i didn't apply the gasoline on the CPU
i just used soap with a soft brush, and i used the gasoline on the mobo.

Well you say that. But then you say this
i just used soap with a soft brush, and i used the gasoline on the mobo.
Which kinda negates the first part being soap is conductive and gasoline is a strong solvent and neither should be used to clean a computer component.

Not sure where you got the idea that soap and gasoline are good for cleaning computer parts but they are either a complete ignoramus or they were trolling you. Either way you have destroyed atleast your motherboard. Next time use canned air, a soft brush(soft bristled paint brushes work well) and a dry cloth and if the rush or cloth needs some moisture(caked on dust) use isopropyl alcohol(the stronger the better).

And it isn't even April 1st today :/

Next time I'm not sure how to perform a task on a PC I'll remember to ask my Granny 'cos most pensioners know all about that stuff

You couldn't make it up :pfff:
