[SOLVED] I connected PC to monitor via DVI to VGA adapter, and display became blurry, need help!

Hello guys! i have a strong PC and it was connected to Monitor via HDMI and everything was fine, today i bought DVI-D to VGA adapter so i can connect my PS4 to monitor via HDMI, but my PC's display became somewhat blurry and text is not as bright as it used to be, can anyone suggest anything?

so there is nothing to do, but to connect back to HDMI?

I'm given to understand that there's Active adapters and Passive adapters to converting to VGA. The Active adapters are more expensive, but do the job better.

I'm NOT speaking from personal experience, though. It's probably best to stick with HDMI, though. Converting from digital to analog is never ideal.
