I connected three j5 create vga to usb 2.0 into a anker multi usb hub. Everything seems to work except for anything web based

The hub simply splits one port down to a few more though that doesn't mean you physically have more ports to work off of. Its advised to have a USB to VGA adapter hooked to the root port on your system instead of a USB hub. Have you exhausted all the front panel connectivity headers found on your motherboard?

The Anker USB hub you've got is meant for charging purposes only and shouldn't be sued to power up display adapters.
