Hello,i could not hear sound from my laptop speaker when i play music files or video files. Kindly solve my problem

Goto control panel / sound and check if the standard playback device is set to speaker. If it's set to hdmi, change that.

You can also trying redownloading the audio driver from DELLs website. I would have given you a direct link but there are like 4 or 5 variants to the Inspiron 15R line. You should be able to get to the drivers for your computer by putting in your service tag which is on the bottom of the computer on a white sticker.
