"Windows cannot delete the active system partition on this disk"

Error message ^

So basically, I got a 500gb m.2 SSD over christmas that I put in, I thought I had set up the drive right but instead screwed up and created a partition for 500 mb of something I don't even know what it is. I made the mistake of thinking this was the 500gb drive. Now I can't seem to "Delete the volume" I followed a guide online google gave me to see if I could delete it and cmd prompt said I only had the three drives in my computer.

My 250 SSD
My 2 TB HDD
and my new 500 GB M.2 Drive

So I'm a bit confused on what to do!

Solution
Windows when installed will create several partitions that may appear empty depending of the kind of installation (UEFI, GPT MBR etc) That one may be just Restore partition windows made.
