I know it’s a big jump but it means I won’t have to buy more for a long time. I would like to get good ram for my system without overclocking my system or whatever

Specs:
ASUS Prime B350M-A/CSM AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 USB 3.1 mATX B350 Motherboard https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WRWZNJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_L3mdEbYVQ51AZ

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 6GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC), 06G-P4-6163-KR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IPVSLTC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_M1mdEbXJCV2VB
If you need any other specs of my build please let me know.

I wish to spend around 150$ for 32gb of ram
Thank you for your help

(I am getting rid of my 8gb so I am getting all new sticks)

What is your current memory kit and do you think you will need 32GB in the future? You might be better off saving money and only getting 2x8GB. You could probably add it to your current ram if you are running 2x4GB for 24GB total, but if it works you will likely be limited to 2933/3000Mhz.

I just want to max out my system for now without overclocking it, id prefer to just get the 32GB instead of 24 but if 24 is max then that’s fine

The max on your motherboard is actually 64GB, but most people never need more than 16GB. We likely wont see a game require the system to have more than 16GB of ram for another 5+ years. I was only suggesting you add to what you have to save money and increase the available ram. If you want 32GB, I'm not going to argue against it, I just think most people don't need more than 16GB yet.

Well first of all, I think that 32gb is a bit overkill, thats just my thought. i think that the extra money can go into a better motherboard being that are on a b350 chipset board which is not the best on the market, being that you can get a b450 or even x470 (if you can find a good deal) for not a lot of money. It may even boost the performance of your CPU given that you may get better power delivery through the VRMs. BUT its your money. For $150 which you claim to be your budget, you can get a 32 gb kit.

This kit is only 3200 mhz. Being that your on Ryzen, going for the extra money and getting 3600 mhz may be a good idea. However, its your money your choice, that is just my piece of advice.
