i currently have a radeon 7950 his iceq 3gb, i was considering upgrading to a gtx 1060 3gb (for 250$ canadian) or his iceq rx 470 (200$ canadian). Are these worth the upgrade? I have a ryzen 3 1300x, 8gb of ddr4 3000 ram (will upgrade to 16).

A 1050ti isn't worth it , its maybe ever so slightly better.

A 1060 3gb probably is worth it , that said I'd keep your 7950 a while & try & save the extra for the 6gb model.

I agree with madmatt, the 1050 ti is just a bit better than the 7950, save a bt longer and get a 1060, or if you can, a 1070.
