I was wondering if i buy a ryzen 5 2600, 16 gb of corsair ddr4 ram, and a gigabyte b450m motherboard how much of a performance gain would i get?

Solution
Your answer: A ton!
The FX serier was released in 2011, while ryzen launched in 2017 (your new processor will be from 2018 anyways).
So I would keep the GTX 1050 TI, change to ryzen 5 2600, B450 chipset motherboard
(or you can wait for B550 if you want), 16GB of DDR4 RAM and overclock the graphics card... Also what's the exact make and model of your PSU?

You'll get some improvement, or somewhere between a little and a ton.

Without knowing which games at what resolution and so on, all we can tell you is that it'll be a significant improvement generally. You haven't given us much to go on.
