You'll get some improvement, or somewhere between a little and a ton.

Without knowing which games at what resolution and so on, all we can tell you is that it'll be a significant improvement generally. You haven't given us much to go on.

You do realize you'll require processor, motherboard AND memory... right?

A GPU alone might be cheaper, overall, and the new CPU, memory and motherboard may not benefit you at all with the same GPU.

Gaming still is dependent first and foremost on GPU.

It would be a big improvement, but you may be better off waiting a bit longer for the B550 to be released and pick up a 3600 for around $70 more than the 2600.

The FX serier was released in 2011, while ryzen launched in 2017 (your new processor will be from 2018 anyways).
So I would keep the GTX 1050 TI, change to ryzen 5 2600, B450 chipset motherboard
(or you can wait for B550 if you want), 16GB of DDR4 RAM and overclock the graphics card... Also what's the exact make and model of your PSU?
