I damaged broken AsRock Mobo further on packaging to return, but it was already broken, now RMA just returned it to me unfixed

I was having problems with my AsRock mobo, z370 Pro 4.

HDMI port was broken, mechanical failure, wiggling the cable made it work on and off.

Then when packing the board, I bent the CPU port pins...

Sent it to RMA, and AsRock immediately refused to fix it, understandably because of broken pins, even if I mentioned the problem was with the port.

So now I want to unbend the pins (try...) and RMA again so they fix the initial problem of defective HDMI port.

What can I do in a case like this? Broken board, and I broke it further , but still it was broken to begin with !

Is unbending the pins an option? Can I fry my CPU also if I unbend pins and put it back together...?

Then I would be double stupid it that happened!

Depends on the level of damage.
I've successfully unbent motherboard pins.

A large clear pic of the affected area would help.

I see that in an online search as being a $100 mobo. I see a recertified one for $70. Even if you are only using an i3 in that, it cost more than the mobo. Look at the mistake as a lesson and pony up for a new mobo...given the issue, perhaps a different one.

Yep, will do, unfortunately , has to be an AsRock again....small form factor, 3 monitors, NVME, it's exactly the one I need!

The other AsRock has a fried HDMI port, but the RMA was so quick, 24 hours I had the board back...so they are super fast. Will give AsRock another chance I guess, no choice!
