I damaged my monitor, is there anyway to fix it?

I was working on my computer because a cable came loose and I accidentally pushed the side panel on to the floor and it scraped against my monitor. Here is a picture of it(Sorry for the bad quality)

Is there anyway to fix it or do I need a new monitor?

you need a new monitor the lcd on the inside is scratched up this happened with my HP monitor and i had to replace it
