Question I deleted some registry files and I need HELP!

Basically i need everything you guys see about the following registry files:
MigrateProxy
ProxyEnable
ProxyServer
ProxyOverride
ProxyHttp1.1
I need all the values (binary and/or string)!
The files are located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

If you notice, the hive you refer to is "HKEY_CURRENT_USER "
The Current User, AKA you.

My Registry does not list those key locations.

Well, i can still use my computer, but it sometimes crashes and shows the BLUE SCREEN that we all know and the error is KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

Yup....you're better-off reinstalling and staying away from registry edits.

If u want the short answer... I have been expierencing some issues in some game clients and game websites and some other websites. For example i cant login Uplay at all, some Riot Games websites dont work, Epic Games Launcher doesnt work, etc.

The Total War Launcher doesnt show news and patch notes, Blizzard.net doesnt show them neither.

Ah yes...the ever present tutorial, recommending random Registry edits.

Any 'tutorial' that refers to editing the Registry, and does not start with "Make a backup of your Registry"...should be ignored completely.


Your system is now in a much worse state than when when you started. An unrecoverable state.

Make a back up of all of your data and verify the back up is good before you do anything

No.
There is no "Undelete Registry entries" or "Recover deleted Registry entries" application.

The way to fix mistakes like this are twofold.

1. Before you start, having a good backup, preferably of the whole system
2. Knowing what you are doing and why. Rather than blindly following a random 'tutorial'.
