I did the ios way

I've read so many posts on how to install Win 10, that I got so confused and finally gave up by doing the Tool method with a DVD ios disc. First, I assume that I have no fear of losing the Free OS, by doing that? I did not know if i had to make a usb boot for both to work, so I did not do the usb thing. Now, if and when I am ready to actually install it, do i just insert the dvd disc and it automatically installs itself? In the event that I did something wrong, is it possible to revert and start all over again differently, or is it too late now that i made that disc? Thanks for your help.

How do you propose I do it? Add a partition to my SSD or remove Win 7 first?

What ever you do, back up your data first. Then, if you are comfortable creating partitions, go ahead and creat a 60 gb partition and use that as your Windows 10 testing ground.

I have win 7 in one partition would there be a problem ? Not ready to discard win 7 as yet
