From what I had read, i thought the prices for the E6850 were going to be around 266. Newegg is at 325.

So now Im thinking about the E6750 its only $210, thats a big difference.

3ghz compared to 2.66, but for $115 is it worth it

Opinions on the processor?? Is the E6850 worth the extra $115

No, just overclock it to 3Ghz or better after 2.6Ghz the speed boost is very unnoticeable.

If you don't have the money sitting around then I would get the 6750 and oc it like YO_KID37 said.

Just buy Micron D9-based DDR2-800 RAM and overclock it and the FSB to 500Mhz. Then all you will need is the E6750, and a good cooler of course.
