I didn't get 144hz on my screen acer gn246hl with dvi cable

Hello,
I recently buyed an acer gn246hl screen and i plug it in my laptop, but when i go in my settings i only see 59hz or 60hz i can overclock it to 75hz max
I used a dvi cable with an adaptator hdmi to dvi.
Sorry for my english, I'm french...

No, its impossible to get with HDMI output. I would return it and buy a higher quality 60hz/75hz monitor.

I doubt it, it seems only display port or DVI-D supports 1080p 144hz on that monitor. Does your GPU not have a DP port? If it does just use a display port 1.2 cable with no adapter. Or a dual link DVI-D cable with no adapter.

I'm on laptop and I only have an hdmi output
