Hi guys i play alot of arma 3 , day z , rust, csgo etc

My problem is when i try to find a friend currently in game i can never find the server that hes in, the list of servers i get back are is small and very random when i refresh.

It doesnt matter whether im on the work or home network i still have the problem , its like its a problem with my computer, it is really frustrating and time consuming :/ i can sometimes direct connect which seems to work, if the game allows it

any help is appreciated thanks

This could be the result of a few things. Depending on your router at home, check your NAT settings to make sure it is set as OPEN NAT. This should help a little. Another issue is to make sure that any anti-virus software you have on while gaming is either in gaming mode, turned off, or the programs are allowed. That being said also make sure you check your firewall inbound/outbound and see that the programs are being allowed through the firewall as well. Anything else I believe would be server side, in not being able to see many servers, your friends, etc. Direct connect works because you are forcing the connection and anything you statically put in to the game will go there. The server is there, and you're pointing traffic right to it.
