Question i dont know anything about overclocking but i need help with overclocking

Mobo: Gigabyte - GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Case: Rosewill - REDBONE U3 ATX Mid Tower Case
Ram: Kingston - HyperX Fury Blue 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

so is there any way i can overclock my cpu or do i need a bigger psu?

overclock settings for Gpu
Power Limit(%): 125
Temp. Limit(C°): 91
Core Clock: +270
Memory Clock: +450

and when i try heaven benchmark the beginning keeps black screening and goes back and half way through i get blue screen then i have to restart my whole pc, if you can help it would be appreciated thanks

You NEED a higher wattage PSU for that setup, especially when overclocking. That PSU is fine for efficient hardware, not power hungry once high-end components.
For the meantime, turn down core and mem clocks on GPU. It may be unstable due to that.

alright thanks but do you have any psu suggestions like a big enough psu?

You need at least 500w for a GTX 980 at stock, and I would recommend some headroom for overclocking components.
