I don't know if I have all of the cables I need... Sata power cable.

So I have the EVGA GS 850w 80+gold PSU ("Silent" version of the G2). It comes with what looks like sata power, but it's a long cable with 4 sata connectors. It just seems weird looking and it doesn't go onto my ssd very smoothly, I haven't tried any excessive force because I don't want to break something so I haven't successfully gotten connected, but I tried it on my optical drive and it seemed to fit, but with a bit of force..
This is what it looks like, just with different sleeving than mine.

Yeah, nothing to worry about, those are Sata power connectors, go ahead and do just a little more pressure to make it fit like in your optical drive, quite usual actually.
