i cant boot my system . it asks the correct sequence for booting . bt i dont kno in whch order of sequence should i arrange them . plz help

Pl provide the list of hard disks, USB, optical drive. Generally, Boot order should be like Boot disk as option 1, optical drive as option 2 and so on. Now a days with only one boot disk there is seldom a need to set remaining options for boot order.

first question.what are the events leading up to this problem?normally i set mine to boot from the hard drive first then cd/dvd,and then removable device (us). is there perhaps more here than meets the eye?

Pl mention your mobo. It is likely that boot sequence is not being configured properly which is leading to this problem. Also it could relate with UEFI settings if enabled.
