[SOLVED] I dont know what is happening with my graphic card

Hi, this is my first post so I dont really know if it should be here, anyway lately im having trouble playing games, the fps are nice at the begining, but after a while the fps drops and I need to change the graphic settings, when I play league of legends I play at 1440p with 120 fps with no problems, after a while the game begins to go bad and I need to change the fps limit to 60 and 1080p and I think my computer should be able to handle league, like the time when I bought it.

(image doesnt work for some reason) as you can see, my fps are not stable at all.

So I dont know if my graphic card is not using 100% or something, my specs are:
Windows 10 Home
Intel Core I7-4770 3.40 GHz
16 GB RAM
Geforce GTX 970 G1

PC is 'clean'? The fewer programs running in the background, the less interference that should be incurred while playing.

92C gpu temp... that is crazy high. Not high enough to cause thermal throttling on that card, but still... either poor case airflow, or thermal paste is dried up.
What's the cpu temps?

PC clean I dont know what you mean, if you mean if my pc externally is clean then yes it is, if you mean that if I have lots of programs in background then I'd say yes but because they are esential for the computer to work.

CPU temp


Also my PC has 5 years or more, never updated the bios (tought it was done automatically) and never changed the termal paste
in Nvidia 3d settings is set to maximum performance in the 2 options for it (texture cuality and energy control) PhysX is set to my graphic card.

While the OP's gpu thermals aren't good, it's not thermal throttling - 92C max still isn't great though.
Maxwell is different from the thermally sensitive Pascal and Turing. The thermal limit for the GTX 970 is 98C.
The problem likely lies elsewhere.

Like I thought, the gpu isn't thermal throttling - still high though, but wow...
4K resolution on a GTX 970
Over time, the gpu might be running out of Vram over time. I would suggest monitoring gpu Vram usage next time and see how high it gets; the card only has 3.5GBs of it.

Then there's the storage drive. Does Asus have a app for checking drive condition? If not, run Crystal Disk Info and check drive health with that: https://crystalmark.info/redirect.php?product=CrystalDiskInfoInstaller

Run a virus/malware scan. Adwcleaner is good free tool if you don't have something similar: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

Update the PC's drivers from Asus, if available.

Disable Windows Game Bar and Game Mode if you haven't already. Found via Windows Search > Gaming.
