[SOLVED] I don't know what to do with this intel xeon e5 2640 v4

So I purchased this cpu from a friend who needed some quick money. I don't know what kind of motherboard to put it in. I have looked at some server motherboards but the form factors are way too big to fit any consumer grade case that I would buy and I am not even sure if a gaming or PC board would work with this cpu. I also don't know what to do about ram, do I need server ram or can I just use corsair vengeance that matches the frequency and ddr version that this cpu requires? I am also not trying to spend too much on this. TY!

Pick up an HP z440 barebone workstation with the 700w power supply for $200 and then you can build it up quite nicely. You can max out the ram in these to 256GB so it would make an excellent virtual machine box with that cpu. You could add a gpu to it if you wanted, and I think even sli will work.

A lot of x99 motherboards will also support that CPU, you will just to look at the support list, I was planning on picking up this same CPU for my spare Asus x99 Deluxe board.
