I don't know whats wrong woth fan

So my fan stop working and I opend my computer and I see this thing hanging like a thread (Don't know how to send pictures from phone)

"this thing hanging like a thread" can you be remotely descriptive about "thing". Is it a wire/cable? Is it string/hair that got caught up and seized in the fan?
