I don't know which GPU to get in my build

Hey,

So this is my set-up at the moment

Motherboard - MSI Z77 Mpower which cost £140

Intel i5k ivy bridge

8GB ram

Corsair H100 water cooler

Other pc parts I already have.

I don't know which graphics card to get, there is so many and I don't know what to get!

I want a graphics card that can handle battlefield 3 and future games on max settings but doesn't cost a bomb to buy.
Also is there any other cheaper motherboard that is modern so for example pci 3.0 and also could handle about 4.4-4.6ghz of the cpu.

Well that's just NOT a good reason the card is fine i have two NOT a dam THING WRONG with them i wouldn't worry about it besides it comes with a two year warranty And yes nvidia better for BF3

Yes I love the MSI gtx 670 but have you heard the recent news about this and the msi gtx 670 and 660ti I am just worried it will break in 1-2years time

That one is good as well the msi pe is fine it's bull crap what being said only TH came up with this non sense i have two nothing wrong with them but if you feel safer getting evga go for it

How long have you had your MSI gtx 670 power editions?

Only problem I have with evga is the cooler it just 1 fan, all the heat looks trapped

Well based on what MSI have said and it not till next month when the new models will include the new bus speeds ect I am going to go with evga. All the reviews say it is good ect..

You know I don't hear anyone talking about the Gigabyte 670. It was well recieved by both Tomshardware and by newegg winning awards on both. Also in the same price range of regular reference cards

Yes but to me it is not very power friendly I believe. I don't like the look of it either lol

more power friendly then a reference cards those cards that evga puts out end up with hot VRM's because of the blower design.
