Hello i brought this gaming pc from amazon £319 it has 2 19in dual monitors 2.60ghz pros even tho it said it had 3ghz web cam even tho my iPhone 4 has better quality lol 2 speakers keyboard and mouse and also it has a Nvidia Geforce GT 730 graphics 2000TB HDD and 8G Ram.

My problem is in the pitcher it was a tower what i got is a Slab so there are just 2 questions
i like to ask 1 what tower case can i get. Also keeping in mind i would like to push the MOB to it's limits before i start saving up for a even better gaming PC & 2 can the MOB handle either i3 i5
or i7 & here is the motherboard Hewlett Packard 1495 it's what it came with. And thank you for you
Time. :)

Solution
Socket-wise, the LGA 1155 socket can support i5-3XXX and i7-3XXX but, because this is a prebuilt OEM setup, there may not be BIOS support.

Also, the G620 is a 65W TDP chip, with some (all?) of the i5's and i7's being a minimum of 77W. The OEM cooling solution (it's not always just a stock system fan) may also be a limiting factor - unable to dissipate the additional heat.

As for putting it in a tower, it depends on the form factor used and whether things like the PSU and cooling solution are proprietary (some OEM systems, for example, secure the CPU cooler to the case itself, opposed to a rear mounting bracket or no brackets required like stock Intel option)
What's a 3GHz webcam? What are 2.6GHz monitors?

If it was sold to you as a tower, and it's a SFF/low profile system; explore your return options.

1. What tower case? Totally depends on whether the motherboard is a proprietary format/layout or not.
Same with the PSU, that'll limit what you can do with it.

2. Whether it can support and i3, i5 or i7 depends on the specifics of the board & BIOS support. What CPU did it come with?
I can't find much online about the board. Do you know what model the actual computer is you got?

Some Google searches take me to HP's "Whippet" motherboard page.
https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c01690297

If that's the board you have, best you can do is a C2Q. Q9XXX

I seriously would look at return options, you got played. That computer could barley be called "gaming" when it was new 10 years ago.

If they advertised 3ghz and only sent 2.6ghz one that should be enough grounds for amazon to make them accept the return.

You could build something new for a little more that would do doughnuts around that 10 year old platform

£319
You bought 2 mediocre monitors, a Windows OS, and got a crappy PC for free.

Don't spend any money trying to change that thing.
Save up for a whole new something.

System Information I'm sorry :)

Well that's not what you got. That listing states a Core2Duo (which could be 10 years old), but what you got was an entry level chip from 3-4 years later. Still a horrible deal. abg wifi too

Honestly, return that while you can. That;'s not going to let you do much for a Youtube channel, outside of play videos from it.

Might have something to do with the really dated wifi chip in there though - but far from the point OP.

That system was a horrible waste of money. The seller should be ashamed, listing that as a "gaming" system.

well unfortunately it's all i can afford with my benefits unless you can get me a much better gaming PC for £319 pounds it's all I've got.. so if you can tell me what i can do with it apart from throwing it out the window :) to help improve it that would be nice.

Well...if you return that and get your £319 back...you can't build new PC, including 2 x monitors, mouse/keyboard, and the OS...within that £319 .

However...that is a really crappy PC that you have.

I have a laptop i3 acer 2.40 ghz possessor...with a HD 4000 graphics 500 Hdd 4 gig ram. This PC that i have is more powerful than that I've tested some games on both that i have project zombiod being one of them runs better on the PC.

I'm NOT focusing on AAA games at the moment there are l lot of old games and even new games that are able to run on this PC. And in some cases i'll play the game on the PC and record the game on the laptop if i have to.
I don't mind that i really don't at the end of the day yes they lied to me on some components but i'm happy with it being my first some what gaming PC.

I'm only looking at games on steam that i can play and there are a shit loads of games even 7 days to die i can play.
I just would like to have help.. helping find a tower instead of a slab and if i can put a i3 or i5 or i7 just to improve what have that would be nice.

And the monitors are not that bad i mean in the pitcher they where DELL witch are good monitors and what i have I've never heard of BENQ but they are not that bad vaLED they work and do the job i'm happy i guess with it being my first.
i'll improve in years to come that or if i make it on YOUTUBE 😀

Your "new" system will perform better with anything utilizing the GPU more than anything else. You're comparing HD4000 onboard graphics to a GT 730. Totally different animals. The 730 is a (relatively) modern budget GPU - designed to be able to play games. ........ but paired with the balance of the system, i's a poor, poor value.

It's not even remotely close to being a "gaming" PC. Simple as that. Yes, you can play games - but you could also play older titles on tablets & phones. Just because you can play games, doesn't make it a value for money.

BenQ make some solid monitors..... but 1440x900 is a really dated reolution.

No offence intended, but you got scammed, or vastly overpaid (or some combination of the two).
If you're happy with it, then so be it. Have fun.

Good luck with youtube, but you're going to need more powerful hardware in order to "make it".

Thank you and i am new at this as well buying PC lesson learned :)
but if you could please tell me just looking at the motherboard if it could handle anything better like i3 or i5 ( i7 maybe not)
and if i could put it in a tower So i could at least improve what i have. It's my money i'm wasting i know but it was one of them wait 7 months or get that. And being a youtuber you need to keep things going waiting will hurt you channel such is life lol

Solution

Amazon has a very generous 30 day return policy. Go to your Amazon order history, and initiate a return. As the reason for the return, state that the product is not as advertised. The product description clearly says 3 GHz CPU, while the processor is a 2.6 GHz CPU. Amazon will then force the seller to pay for return shipping, and won't charge you a restock fee. The seller then has to refund your money, or make good by shipping you what they actually advertised.

The system you have right now is a waste. The Intel integrated graphics on a modern CPU is faster than the nVidia 730, both for gaming and rendering videos. If the two monitors were halfway decent I'd contemplate keeping them, but they're 19" and the pictures in the listing don't even show the same monitors (one pic is 16:9, another is 4:3 or 5:4) You can get two 21.5" 1080p monitors for around $150 nowadays.

Return the system, buy another one with a decent modern CPU and a single monitor. Rely on the Intel integrated graphics initially since it'll be faster than the 730. Use your phone for shooting videos and edit them on the computer. As you get more money, you'll be able to upgrade by adding a better GPU (if you're gaming), a second monitor, a webcam, and quality microphone. Trying to salvage this system will just put you £319 in the hole on the path to your final goal.

Maybe in the short-term. But longer edit/rendering times etc, will hurt you in the long-term.

Better to take the hit now while you're still small & not relying on ad revenue than in the future when a couple of weeks downtime could hurt your wallet.
