Yeah so I bought a few vintage CPUs that the dude that I bought it from doesn't have anymore and while I was taking a pentium D 915 out to show my cousins I dropped about 1m on hard concrete and a capacitor fell off.
I am know how to solder pretty good so I would like to know if it's possible. It does look like so if I'm careful but I'm really rusty at soldering haven't done it in like 3 months.
I have pics if u want.
If it's possible I'll post some pics and if u can try to tell me what uf it is.
Thx!

Solution
On one of my project PC's from my early years of experimenting and building i broke a pin that was bent on a Athlon 64 939 pin socket (broke it in the process of unbending it). I put it in and surprise surprise the damn thing still worked. Never tested stability with it but it still booted and surfed the web normally. lol
Needless to say that was just a pin....no idea what kind of instability a transistor missing would do.
