i dropped my graphics card stacking it on two boxes while i was getting something from a box that was under it. it fell about 3 feet from the backside of my bed which means it probably hit against the wall and the bed back and forth as it was going down. the wall has a blanket covering it to cover my windows( i know im ghetto). it landed on the side where all the electrical things are. my main question is. if i test it out and put it in my computer; do you thing it will damage any of the other components. please help.

Solution
That blanket might be card saver. But there's still good probability plastic parts (like fan and cover) might get damaged/broken. Make sure fans can spin and nothing blocks them. If PCB and PCIe slot were not broken, I think you may try it without fear of damaging other parts.

how do i clean it.

do you think it is ever ok to be making computer adjustments in a room with carpet without socks on. i do this all the time and so far nothing has happened i just want to know before i learn the hard way. usually before i start i touch my fan that is plugged in, not turned on and has unpainted metal to ground myself. do you think that is working?

Yeah, should be enough preparations.
