I dropped my 6tb internal hdd while it was on a docking station(powered on and about 2feet of height).
Now it's not working. I just want to know if it was a junk now or I could still fix it. Or is it cheap to fix it.
I really don't mind losing the files in it as they're not important.
I just need the storage. Is it cheap to get it fixed or I should just buy another one.
As for it's condition, when I put it again in the dock, I'm hearing scratching noise. I guess it's the arm touching the platter where it shouldn't be.
