Question I enabled "turn on by PCI-E" in BIOS by accident, now the PC won't boot

I tried to enable Wake on LAN so I could remote in with Team Viewer while the computer was asleep. I couldn't find it in the BIOS under power settings, just "Turn on by Ring". I enabled it but accidentally disabled "Turn on by PCI-E". After accepting and exiting the BIOS, the screen went black.

I turned the PC off and turned it back on. The lights inside turned on and the fans started but it didn't appear to be going through the boot process.

It's an Asus - Prime Z370-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard.

I tried booting with the Shift Key pressed as well as booting with F8 pressed. It's not starting up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Follow the directions on page 1-11. This should reset everything to factory settings.

Thank you, I’ll have a read through over the weekend. I was going to try removing the cmos battery for 10 minutes but can’t do anything now until Monday. But this will help a great deal!
Removing the battery does the same thing as using the clear CMOS jumper. You shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes, but it won't hurt if you do.

*** Edit ... make sure you unplug the power from the wall. Removing the battery does nothing if the board is still getting power.
