It runs worse than i feel it should when gaming. Not overclocked
Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-7500
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080
SSD: Kingston A400 240GB
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012)
HDD: WD WD3200AVVS-63L2B0 320GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB
MBD: Asus PRIME Z270-P

Download and run HWInfo (select sensors only when it starts).
Let it run.
Run a couple games that don't run well.
Then look at HWInfo....the temps (mainly CPU and GPU) and voltages (in the motherboard section 12,5, and 3.3).
Post a pic of the results somewhere and link to it.

this was for AC valhalla on medium settings. it runs between 60-70 fps unstable constantly going up and down sometimes hitting 40 fps. I feel like there is a part of my pc that should be upgraded so it could run better but idk what

Z270 board is nice, but that means the top CPU is the 7700K, which itself is kind of dated, only being a quad core, albeit with hyperthreading. (Basically an equivalent to a late model i3)

i5-11600K and Z490/Z590 if you like Intel, or a Ryzen 5600X and B560/X570 if you don't mind switching. Your system memory is suitable for either. And up from there if you want 8 cores or more (10 core max with Intel 10th gen, and 16 core max with AMD).
