I forget my router password.... How do i change the password without reseting the router

I forget my router password...... I don't want to reset the router..... What can i do for it?

Not much you can do unless you can remember the password. Keep trying.

Have you tried the defaults? These are found in the user manual.

Either remember, find the piece of paper you wrote it on, or Reset.
Those are your only choices.

It is designed that way on purpose. That way someone who can touch the router can't make changes and you do not know about. They would for example never be able to setup the wireless keys the same and you would know someone had broken into the device.
