I formatted all my drives how do i fix this?

Hello,
this computer i recieved as a gift has been fully formatted it is apparently like completely empty. whenever i try to load a new copy of windows 7 pro it stops at a part and asks me for a driver cd or a flash drive how do i fix this?

It sounds as though you need drivers for a Sata hard drive. If so you will need to find the make and model and download drivers for it, and insert the driver disc when windows asks for it. You could also try to enable/ use the IDE setting in the bios instead.

If the drive contains no useful data, just go into the BIOS and set the disk drive is primary boot drive. it will install windows before loading the current install and you will have afresh OS.

Windows 7 does not need Sata drivers I think delete the partition and make them again and in the bios menu for IDE and Sata drives choose AHCI maybe It works
