I'd go with the i5 8500, and get the few extra FPS from the 1070ti, that having a better CPU could make up for.

Both systems will perform very closely. If you are considering AAA gaming, I'd say your better off getting 16gb and the 1070 with the 8500. solid gaming at ultra up to 1080p 60-120hz

This is a tough one...Ideally it would be 8600K - 1070ti - 8GB Ram - 240 SSD - 1TB HD...The 8600K is a great CPU that overclocks so well. but if overclocking is not on your radar then option 1 with another stick of 8GB RAM as CPU Master has said if you can get it in...though you can and will add it later..

Yes i was think that too(btw its a prebuild system) but the the first one comes with a stock cooler and the second with non stock one
