I found a hard drive on ebay. Cheap but seller sold hundreds. Should I buy?

I found this eBay seller selling a 3TB Hitachi hard drive. Really cheap but looks like a respected seller. I see like 500 SOLD!!! Should I buy this drive. Is it in new condition. Does anyone have experience with the seller?

Do you recommend another choice over this? Basically, I am looking for a reliable drive for storing and accessing files whenever needed. If anyone knows a reliable brand and model (like WD red, purple, etc.) that is fit for me, let me know.

The problem is that model is old, like 4 years old at least. That mean's it's out, very old stock. May be new in a package, but doesn't say how hot/cold/wet those 4 years have been spent.

You can get new, more recent models for the same price or cheaper, so the ebay price, to me isn't worth paying new prices for "4 years old" ""new"".

For me, ebay is only for used parts I cannot get elsewhere.
A new item? Newegg or Amazon or elsewhere.

A 4 year old HDD for the same price as something new from Egg or Zon? Not a chance.
