i found a temporary file folder empty how can I restore the files that were in there?

hello there were files in my usb that dissapeared due to avast ( I think) and supposedly converted into temporary files.
I found the folder but it was empty
How can I restore the files please?

you mean usb flash drive then you cant ,if they was on your computer then you can try restore point(check help and support section on your computer..
