I found my old ps2 (stout-line) but there seems to be broken.

well the best way i can describe it is that after i turn it on it freezes on the main browser and i can't access the system config or the game/memory card browser.
the only other details i can give is that it is about 10~10 1/2 years old and hasn't been used since 2004 because the controller/memory card reader unit was fried but i recently just replaced it with one my friend found for me and it tried to play on it today but it just freezes.
can it be fixed or do i have a frozen or locked system?

Just buy another one, they aren't too much these days.

nah i fixed it. the internal clock had to be reset and the control i was using wasn't functional anymore.
