Are the letters actually backward? Is this with a webcam or a digital camera?

Just use any picture viewing software including the one in Windows and flip the image.. Then save it.

My iPhone does the same thing with no rhyme or reason. I just tacked it up to some Apple software anomaly...

web cam that's not built in to the computer .But it is attached.

It's like comparing looking in the mirror to looking at a person. A web cam flips the image so when you video chat with someone you're correctly orientated as if you two were talking face to face.

Must be somewhere in the settings to keep the image orientation correct and not reverse for web chat stuff.
