Hello everybody, I recently purchased my new pc and after all the essential bios and drivers updates, I clocked my ram at 3200mhz using the xmp profile. The problem is that the task manager shows a frequency of 3200mhz and cpu-z shows 1596mhz. Any ideas as to what is going on here ? Thanks

Oh okay, just one more thing, i just saw that in bios the frequency is 2133mhz which confused me even more.
But i guess Im fine here so Thanks a lot. If you think there is something else there with the new info please please let me know. Thanks again

2133MHz is the JEDEC base standard for DDR4 - so it will run at 2133MHz out of the box (for compatibility with all boards etc).

Once you enable XMP/DOCP, that applies a 'profile' (sometimes there's more than one), which applies the listed speed/timings you would've see as the advertised spec for the RAM.
