Ive noticed that when My fps drop from 60 to 50 in Ryse son of rome, i get a huge lag. Why is that? Ive heard you dont get lag or stutter if your fps remain above 24? I have a core i5 4670 and a gtx 970. Is there something wrong with my power supply? Is it not providing enough power? I ran 3d mark Firestrike to make sure and i got 10058 score, which seems pretty nice

Reasons as to why this may be happening:
1. Your graphics card could be insufficient.
2. Your cpu could be insufficient or is being used up by something else, check task manager.
3. You don't have enough RAM.
4. The game was poorly made.
5. See what other people say.

If it's a RAM/CPU, search up the recommended ram/cpu to play the game and check task manager to see what else is using your RAM/CPU.

Ram is as per recommended, everything else is higher than the recommended specs.

Check task manager for anything using up your most or all of your CPU or RAM like I said earlier. Tell me what you find. If it's going over the max due to a memory leak or some rogue program, then we'll actually know what the problem is so we can fix it.

processor is at 2 percent and ram at 6 percent whereas Hdd was at 28 percent i dont know why, Also i noted that my gpu usage was very low in ryse son of rome, around 60 to 70 percent. But there is a program called timer resolution when i used it my gpu usage didnt drop from 95 %and i got very good fps above 55 at all times, Is this software known to cause damage to hardware???

Never heard of it. But, if it's working for you, that's great. Although, it should work without the program. Your GPU being at 95% may cause it to overheat depending on your overclocking settings/cooling. If it's being overclocked and it's not being cooled properly, your GPU may be damaged beyond repair, and perhaps some other hardware will be damaged as well.
