[SOLVED] I get no sound coming from my monitor's earphones connector.

Behind my monitor (Asus VS228HR) there's an earphones connector, I tried connecting there my earphones and the monitor via HDMI to my computer's video card but I don't hear anything, what's wrong?

Make sure you go into the Sound control panel in Windows and set the GPU to the default output device.
