I have a windows 8.1, Nvidia gtx 750 and an intel i5 4440. When I play watch dogs I get about 30-40 fps on medium and about 25 on high. On ultra it goes to hell with lag :/

Is this normal with my setup? I get a bit of lag on others games as well.

hi,
I also have an quad core i5 and a gtx 750. it seems with a gtx 750 that it really depends on if you have the 2gb vram option or the 1gb with regards to textures - high or medium.
so it is probably best if you avoid using the presets (assuming you have used these) and manually change them.

this link --> www.geforce.co.uk/whats-new/guides/watch-dogs-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide <--- is useful for this, if you scroll right to the bottom and then scroll up slightly to find the table. this table tells you the optimum settings, set by nvidia, for your graphics card (and any other nvidia card). of course this is just a guide based upon a few assumptions by nvidia:

A) you have a modern quad core cpu (which you do)
B) you game at 1080p (you dont say if you do)

obviously if you have a lower resolution, try these settings and turn them up - frame rates allowing. also these settings give at least 35 fps at all times so if you wanted higher than this (e.g 50 or 60 fps at all times) then you would have to upgrade your graphics card or scale the settings down maybe even the resolution to 720p if you were really bothered about the fps.

this is of course assuming you have 6gb or more of ram as watchdogs needs this to run properly

hope this helps
