I can go to £260 but I dont want to throw money at this system since its a secondary system

Personally I would go with the RX480 4gb, you can get one for a shade over £200. Both the 1060 and 480 are overkill for LOL but the RX480 seems to be winning out with DX12 so it might last better with newer games.

I have a 1060 myself and it is a decent card so for your use you can't really lose if you go that way.

RX480 and GTX1060 are about equals.
There are more differences than only in VRAM size between GTX1060 3GB and 6GB. At least so I heard.
RX480 4GB and 8GB are difference only on the VRAM. At least so I heard.
