I Have one defective HDD and a new and fresh M.2 SSD, it has shown errors like Unexpected Store Exception and Critical Process Died and it has been clicking under the lightest of loads like opening a torrent client and loading two youtube videos on chrome.
I have run programs like CrystalDiskInfo that said nothing was wrong but there really is, and i dont doubt it, thus i bought an SSD that are known for less chance of failure and life span than an HDD, my question being, could i keep my hdd if i format it to store games that are 60 or 100+ gigabytes? or will they still bluescreen?
i am planning to keep the OS in the SSD and some lightweight games or games that really use the SSD's faster loading times for a much more enjoyable experience, but i am wondering that if i do wipe the hdd clean with no OS i can keep some games in there and just storage.
