I got a virus.

Ok so I got a virus , basicly what it does ... It opens a webpage ("http://newspages.net/howknowsm") Wich is basicly an advertissement redirect site. But I cannot manage to remove it or neither to find it. Can someone help me ?

What I've done : CCleaner, Adwcleaner, malwarebytes(wich with the premium trial stop the webpage to pop.)

Which web browsers? Does the redirect happen immediately as soon as you open the browser?

Check the shortcut's properties that launches the browser and see if has been modified to add the offending website.

Have you installed any software or browser extensions/plugins recently?

whatever you got infected with it sounds like it modified the LMHOSTS file. one of the best utilities to correct this is the free norton power eraser.
