Dear All ,
I got an RMA 7700k , Auto Core voltages changed from 1.3 to 1.27 after replacing the new processor to the same mb. is that normal ? every piece of 7700k got a different vcore in stock speeds ?
another point was the thermal performance, while my old 7700k was hitting 100C easily while rendering even at stock speeds , the new one is cooler all the way , hitting not above 70 c while rendering.
i need to ask if it is the new chipsets are being handled the way it shoud regarding voltages and thermal performance or it is just the first cpu was faulty .

Its thermal paste that caused 100*C (Lame Intel). Core voltage fluctuates cause it has VDroop and you could set it by yourself.Probably First cpu had thermal paste issue but voltage fluctuation that could be random, as my old Q6600 could sometimes run on 1.25V and sometiems 1.3V but under load Vcore should drop a bit.
