Most Intel ram works fine with amd boards. Your board may have a ram QVL listing on it's webpage. I would look for other gskill that's been tested for your board. They don't test all models and makes of ram, but a sampling.

Thank you for the advice i was able to use it just fine and now the computer works great the sniper ram i was using was 1600 with 9-9-9-24 and 1.5 volts after further reading i found out that the timing and ghz matched. the motherboard was an asrock 880 pro3 , the cpu was a AMD FX 6core 3.3 ghz 14mb cache. it is a computer i built for my brother and that combo works very well its fast
