VB6RunTime.exe

on my networked computer to use it for the moving map. It locked up and
won't boot anymore. When booting I get a message saying

Incorrect System Disk. Remove and ,/,//, I forget the rest.

Later I'll dig out the win98 disk and see whats what

Generic P133 computer

Did you perhaps leave a floppy in the floppy drive? Pop it out and
try rebooting.

Nope, checked that. Re-Booted 4 times, went into setup, everything ok.

What OS, boB? Perhaps that particular incarnation of VB6RunTime.exe is for
WinXP only...

Just boot up in safe or command mode and rename it or delete it.

Bill

That won't accomplish anything as launching this file adds/replaces multiple
files on the system to allow the system to run any application built using
Visual Basic. Once you've done this deleting this file will have no effect
🙂
