Hello, everyone

I'm new to pc building. Today i built my first pc and i'm really excited about it. I haven't installed windows yet, but i checked the bios and everything looks ok.

The problem is that i had to unscrew and remove the wraith stealth cooler with the pre-applied thermal paste right after i installed it, and the question is should i have cleaned the thermal paste and reapplied it or it should be ok?

Thank you

It'll more then likely be fine, keep an eye on temps via AMD Ryzen Master and if it exceeds 80C then remove the cooler, clean off the paste and reapply new paste & the cooler.

As a side note I had the Wraith Stealth for 2600 and while it kept the CPU fairly cool it got quite loud. Replaced it with the CM EVO Black cooler which is pretty much silent compared to the stock one and the load temps went down quite a bit (about 13C).

Thank you. I will eventually upgrade to an aftermarket cooler
