I bought a phantom 410 case and a lite-on super allwrite 24x sata dvd+/-rw layer drive, but I need to buy the other parts! I want to spend as little as possible and I would love to have the GTX 780 GPU or would a 770 be just as good for games the next few years? very happy to finally build this ! I like FPS/quickness/performance. I use the computer for homework, internet, and pc gaming about 50% of the time and the other console, but who knows? this might be enough to make me switch for good.

You won't be able to overclock the processor with these parts together, but I doubt you'll ever want to do that. The performance is way more than enough having the processor running at stock frequency.
